They have an awesome variety of books for kids and the computers are generally not always full, unless they are teaching a computer class. It is a great library for a small location
Very nice clean library, however it is very hard to do any type of research on the computers, when you have people talking loudly on their cell phones, and kids running around screaming and crying, and not a parent in site. Libraries are suppose to be a place where you can read and or study quietly without distraction, but after my third visit in a row, there was always someone talking loudly on their cell phone, and kids running around crying and screaming. It would be nice if the staff would enforce a quiet rule, that way others could read, and or study without any loud distractions.
I have to say I am really impressed with this library! The staff is really friendly and they're always willing to help. They're really good about keeping up to date with their books! I also like how it's really easy to get a new book and the longest I've had to wait for a new book is like a month. At the Harris County Library, I've had to wait like half a year for new books. Overall, very good library!
They have interesting classes for toddlers as well for kids and teens.
Im upset because twice already im being told that a book wasn't turned in when it has been. Im not sure who is dropping the ball there but now im annoyed. The first time it happened although i knew it was turned in i figured fine ill pay the book but now second time around when i KNOW for sure it was returned im upset
I like to take my daughter here, I try to enforce the quiet rule with her, though other parents do not do the same.
I come here to use the printer and that is about it. I have checked out a book or two only once or twice. They open at 10 am which is kind of late to me. I have been there waiting for them to open. Today I arrived upon opening time and they just looked at me. Apparently they unlocked the door but did not even open it then when I pried it open they just looked at me. Great "customer service" Houston over all lacks that at every business!!!
